Travelling to Toronto and Scarborough

Scarborough is a large district in the eastern part of Toronto. It is an integral part of the city and it also has its own unique cultural and historical identity.

Flight:

Pearson Airport is the largest hub. It is 40 kilometres from the University of Toronto Scarborough.
A taxi (or ride share) will cost approximately $65-80 (depending on traffic). 
You can also take transit (80-120 minutes, $25.10):

1. UP Express – Pearson to Union Station
Board at: Pearson Airport Terminal 1 (~25 minutes) Fare: $12.35 CAD

2. GO Train – Union to Rouge Hill GO
Train: Lakeshore East line, eastbound (~35–38 minutes) Fare: $9.25 CAD

3. TTC Bus – Rouge Hill GO to UTSC
Bus: 38 or 38B Highland Creek (~20–25 minutes
Board at: Rouge Hill GO bus stop
Get off at: Military Trail @ UTSC / Arts Building
Fare: $3.50 CAD

Billy Bishop Airport is much smaller and close to the city centre.
Billy Bishop Airport operates shuttles to Union Station. See above for travelling from there to the University of Toronto Scarborough.

Train

Union Station is in downtown Toronto. It is 35 kilometers from the University of Toronto Scarborough.
A taxi (or ride share) will cost approximately $55-80 (depending on traffic).
You can also take transit (60-100 minutes) – See suggested route above.

Bus

The main terminal is right next to Union station so we could include “Union Station Train/Bus Terminal” for the train option.

Rent a car

Pearson Airport has various rental car options.

Union Station and the Bus terminal also have nearby car rental options. 

Travelling from Scarborough to Montreal:

Tip: Easiest way to get from here to the Montreal World conference is by train.
It’s very easy and convenient to travel by train and it is advised to book ahead. There is a direct connection from Toronto to Montreal:

Travelling within Ottawa

OC Transpo is the transit authority in Ottawa. There is a light rail line and bus routes. Please consult the OC Transpo website for more information.
Uber is widely available in Ottawa. There are also several taxi companies in Ottawa.
