Welcome Message from CEPROM Commission Chairs
We warmly welcome you to join us for CEPROM 2026! The CEPROM Commission is an international network of practitioners and scholars who are committed to the education of the professional musician and to exploring sustainable careers in music in a rapidly changing world. CEPROM accomplishes its mission by holding an International Seminar one week prior to each world conference to provide an opportunity for members and other professionals and students interested in the subject to share their ideas and work related to the mission. In 2026, our seminar theme is Breaking down barriers to thriving music careers: Building community and connection. We invite your submissions in a range of formats, including spoken papers, demonstrations and workshops, poster presentations, Pecha Kucha and round table discussions as we explore the ways the CEPROM community’s work can be harnessed and shared to support more connected and supportive experiences of life and work in music.

Welcome Message from Local Host
Greetings from Quebec City!
I had the pleasure of meeting members of the CEPROM family in Estonia last summer, and it is now my immense pleasure to invite you to Quebec City Music Conservatory for CEPROM 2026.
The Quebec City Music Conservatory is one of the top music schools in Eastern Canada. It is located just a few steps from the famous Old Town, which is Unesco World Heritage listed and the birthplace of the French civilization in North America.
A beautiful setting, welcoming people and thought-provoking presentations: CEPROM 2026 is the place to be before ISME!
